He is from a cold village in the Northern part of the country of Azuma, and is a childhood friend of Kaguya, who is from the same hometown. He is a hunter on a mission to save the land of Azuma.

He is usually relaxed and easy-going, and likes to gaze idly at the sky. Generally, he is not good at fighting, but he has a strong sense of justice and will wield a sword like a demon for the sake of his friends and loved ones.
