    Speaking to villagers helps you form a deeper bond. Constant positive interactions will level up your Bond Level with that villager. This unlocks new skills for them and also lets them join you on your adventures.

    You can spend special time with any villager who has a yellow speech bubble above their head. The activities you can do depend on your Bond Level. You can chat about a variety of interests, exchange presents, hold hands, and much more.

  • Profiles

    Check your current Bond Level with villagers and any Bond Skills here. Raise your Bond Level with someone to reveal new secrets, such as what they like or what worries them.

  • Likes and Dislikes

    Each villager will love, like, dislike, or hate a gift you give them. These reactions reveal more about their personality.

  • Birthdays

    You can celebrate a villager's birthday every year, so check the Calendar or Profiles menu to keep track of them.

    Festivals, which take place on specific dates, give you and the villagers a chance to participate in unique events with special outfits.

  • Bonding Quests

    Bonding Quests unlock after you have a high enough Bond Level with a villager. These give you a chance to know them even better. If you grow especially close, you can even ask them to be your boyfriend or girlfriend.
